Final Inspection

Nothing is more exciting then having your final inspection.  Hopefully your inspector will sign off on the final inspection and you can start moving in.  When I had my final I felt the inspector was testing me.  He started pointing out a bunch of stuff that needed to be fixed like my garage stairs were not secured to wall.  I had no bollard in front of my furnace and my outside patio roof he said needed more brackets.  As he went through the house and pointed these things out  I bit my tongue and agreed that  I would fix everything he had said.  Then he signed my final and told me to take care of it.  I feel that if I would have tried to argue he would not have been so nice and not taken my word that  I would fix the issues.  Once he signed my paper work  I was so happy I drank about six beers and sat on my patio.  If you have some issues that need to be fixed just remember how far you have come and one more inspection is not to big of deal.  Congratulations its time to start moving in.
