Driveway

Alright its time to install your driveway.  Make sure you have a great subgrade down before paving of pouring concrete.  I did all the subgrade work for my concrete pad in front of garage and asphalt.  I made sure to rebar into foundation for my concrete pad.  I also added fiber and color.  We did a slate stamp finish that turned out awesome.  I paid to have the concrete finished.  Once  I had let my concrete set up for a good 30 days I was ready to pave my driveway.  I put down asphalt grindings for a subgrade under asphalt.  I installed two catch basins for drainage.  I wanted to have a pretty flat driveway so my subgrade had to be right on in order to get to drain.  I paid to have a company pave the driveway.  Even though my dad has asphalt equipment it made more sense to hire out for the price I got it for.  I only ended up paying about 2000 dollars above the cost of asphalt.  This made sense to me to contract out since the amount needed would have required borrowing extra trucks and getting about 5 guys to help me.  The end product turned out nice.
